GH PCD Cutting Tool Blanks are available in 5 micron, 10 micron, 25 micron, and so on,polycrystalline diamond cutting tool blank mostly used for high precision cutting of non-ferrous metal (copper, aluminum, alloy ), finish processing of non-metal materials (porcelain, synthetic fibre, graphite materials), and wear resistance materials for surveying instruments, steering equipment,and supporting tools etc.

GH PCD blanks are available in the standard shape of round, and can be processed per customer's request in a wide variety of sizes and shapes including rectangular, square, triangle, and fan-shaped (semi-circle) and so on.

l PCD

PCD(Polycrystalline Diamond)is a synthesized, extremely tough, intergroup mass of randomly orientated diamond particles in a metal matrix. It is produced by sintering together selected diamond particles at high pressure and temperature.

PCD may be cost effectively employed to machine the following broad range of materials:

•    Non-ferrous metals and alloys including, aluminum, copper, bronze, brass, green tungsten carbide, precious metals and MMC's.

•    Non-metallic materials including, ceramics, reinforced plastics, hard rubber, chipboard, MDF's and other fibreboards, etc.

Application:

PCBN/CBN cutting tools are suitable for the high-speed and super high-speed precision machining of hardened steel of HRC>45, wear-resistant cast iron, heat-resistant alloys of HRC>35, pearlite grey cast iron, nodular cast iron, Fe-based P/M sintered materials and hardened cast iron.
